I am not a “Serious” amateur. Life in general is much too important to take seriously. Especially astronomy since it is an avocation not a vocation. So the name of this website is firmly tongue-in-cheek. A better name might have been “Not-So-Serious Astronomy” but then, I thought, no one would take me seriously!
